About Proofreader & diacritics

Small mistakes weaken good writing: a misplaced hamza, a wrong verb form, a missing comma. This page puts three tools in one place. Proofread fixes spelling, grammar and punctuation in Arabic or English text, keeps your style and meaning, and gives you a short list of the main corrections with the reason for each. Diacritics adds full harakat to Arabic text, which helps with poetry, teaching material, children's books and voice-over scripts. Summary shortens a long text into bullet points or a single paragraph, keeps the numbers and names, and adds nothing of its own.

The tool runs on credits. Proofread and Diacritics cost 1 credit up to 400 words and 2 credits from 401 to 1,000 words. Summary costs 1 credit up to 1,500 words and 2 credits from 1,501 to 4,000 words. The price is printed on the button before you press it, and a new account gets 2 free credits once the email is confirmed.

Why use it

  • Three tools on one page: proofreading, full Arabic diacritics, and summaries in two lengths.
  • Proofread explains the main corrections and why, so you learn from them instead of just copying.
  • Your style is kept: it fixes errors without rewriting your text in someone else's words.
  • A fixed price shown before each run, and an automatic refund if a run fails.
  • We do not store your text or the result; we log only the size, mode and credits used.

How to use

  1. Sign in

Press “Sign in and try it free” and type your email to get a one-time sign-in link, or continue with Google. New accounts get 2 credits after confirming the email.

  2. Pick a mode

Choose Proofread to fix mistakes, Diacritics to add harakat to Arabic text, and Summary to shorten a long text. In Summary you also choose bullet points or one paragraph.

  3. Paste your text and check the price

Paste 10 to 1,000 words for Proofread and Diacritics, and 50 to 4,000 words for Summary. The word count appears under the box, and the price on the button changes to 2 credits once you pass the first tier.

  4. Run it and review

Press the run button and wait a few seconds. Copy the result or download it as a text file, and read it through before you publish, especially names and terms specific to your field.

Examples

A cover letter before sending

A short email to an employer in Kuwait with “I am writting to apply” and “their is a role”. Proofread returns “I am writing to apply” and “there is a role”, adds missing commas, and lists each fix with a one-line reason.

A shop post in Arabic

A post that writes «انشاء الله» and «مكتبه جديده». Proofread corrects them to «إن شاء الله» and «مكتبة جديدة», with a note on the hamza and the taa marbuta, while the shop name and prices stay as they are.

A children's story with full harakat

A 300-word Arabic story about a cat looking for its home. Diacritics adds full harakat so a child and a teacher can read it aloud with confidence. You then check the rare character names yourself.

A long report before a meeting

A 2,500-word report on third-quarter sales. Summary in bullet points gives you the key points in a minute, keeps the figures, percentages and branch names, and draws no conclusions the report did not make.

Tips

  • Split long texts for Proofread and Diacritics into parts of up to 400 words: each part costs 1 credit and is easier to check.
  • Read the list of corrections even when the result looks fine; it is the quickest way to avoid the same mistake next time.
  • With Diacritics, check proper names and words that can be read more than one way; they need your eye the most.
  • If you have vowelled Arabic text and need a plain copy, use our free tool at /remove-arabic-diacritics/.
  • Remove private details the check does not need, such as phone numbers and account numbers, before pasting.

Your text travels over an encrypted connection to our server and then to the AI model provider for processing, and the result comes straight back to you. We do not keep the text or the result in our database. We record only the time, the text size, the mode, the credits used and the processing cost, so we can show your usage history and keep our accounts.

Frequently asked questions

Is the tool free?

It runs on credits, because every run costs us AI processing. A new account gets 2 free credits after confirming the email, which is enough to proofread two short texts of up to 400 words each.

How much do credits cost?

One credit is $0.05. Pay as you go from $5 (100 credits), or pick a pack: $10 = 220 credits, $15 = 345 credits and $25 = 600 credits. You buy them once; there is no subscription and no auto-renewal.

How many credits does one run use?

Proofread and Diacritics: 1 credit up to 400 words, 2 credits from 401 to 1,000 words. Summary: 1 credit up to 1,500 words, 2 credits from 1,501 to 4,000 words. The price is on the button before you press it.

What happens if a run fails?

Credits are taken when the run starts. If it fails for any reason on our side or at the AI provider, they go back to your account automatically and the refund appears in your history.

What are the length limits?

Proofread and Diacritics accept 10 to 1,000 words per run, and Summary accepts 50 to 4,000 words. For longer texts, split them into parts and run each part separately.

Which languages are supported?

Proofread and Summary work with Arabic and English. Diacritics works with Arabic text only, since harakat are part of Arabic script.

Will proofreading change my writing style?

No. It fixes spelling, grammar and punctuation, and leaves your word choice and the order of your ideas alone. If you want a full rewrite, that is not what the proofreader does.

Are the diacritics always correct?

AI can make mistakes, especially with rare names and words whose reading depends on context. Review the result before you print or publish it, and ask a specialist for important texts.

Can I use it to add diacritics to Quran verses?

We advise against it. The tool is meant for general texts; for Quran verses always rely on an authenticated mushaf with the correct script and diacritics.

Do you keep the texts I send?

No. We keep only the text size, the mode, the credits used and the time of the run. The text passes through the AI provider to be processed.

How do I buy credits?

On the My credits page, pick a pack and pay with one of the available methods: our Gumroad store, PayPal, USDT on TRC20, and USDC on Solana. Details are on the pricing page.

Do credits expire?

Purchased credits are valid for one year from the purchase date, and free trial credits for 30 days. Unused credits can be refunded under our refund policy; for questions, write to support@adwaty.net.
