Video Watermark Remover

Draw a box over the logo or watermark in your own video, pick remove or blur, and download an MP4 with the original audio.

🔒 All processing happens inside your browser — your video is never uploaded. First use loads the video engine (about 31 MB). For your own content only.

About Video Watermark Remover

This tool removes a fixed logo or watermark from your own video, or hides it under a heavy blur. Load the video, pick a frame where the logo is easy to see, and drag a box over it with your mouse or finger. Then choose a method: Remove fills the box from the pixels around it so the logo fades into the background, and Blur covers the box with a strong blur so nothing underneath can be read. You get an MP4 with the original audio, which you can play on the page before you download it.

It is built for content you own: a clip you exported from an editing app that stamped its logo in the corner, an old ad that still shows your previous company logo, or a video of yours where a phone number or name slipped into the frame. Please do not use it to strip another creator's watermark and repost their work; that can break copyright law and platform rules. The tool asks you to confirm the video is yours before it runs. Everything happens in your browser with ffmpeg.wasm, so the video is never uploaded.

Why use it

  • Removes or blurs a static logo without installing editing software.
  • Up to six boxes per video, for example a logo in one corner and a date stamp in another.
  • Keeps the soundtrack and exports an H.264 MP4 that plays on almost any device or platform.
  • Shows the result on the page so you can check it before downloading.
  • Free, no account, and the video never leaves your device.

How to use

  1. Confirm the video is yours

Read the note and tick “This is my own video, or I have permission to edit it.” Processing will not start without it.

  2. Load the video

Drag the file onto the drop area or click to choose it. MP4, WebM and MOV files your browser can play are accepted, up to 120 MB, 3 minutes and 1080p.

  3. Draw a box over the logo

Move the “Frame to preview” slider to a moment where the logo is clear, then drag to draw a box slightly larger than the logo. Undo the last box or clear them all if you need to.

  4. Pick a method and process

Choose Remove to fill the box from its surroundings, or Blur to hide it. A progress bar shows the work; the first run also loads the video engine, about 31 MB.

  5. Preview and download

The finished video appears in a player under the tool. Watch it, and if you are happy press “Download video (MP4)”.

Examples

Editing app logo in the corner

You made a 40-second clip in a free editor that left its logo bottom right. Draw a box around it, choose Remove, and you get the same clip without the logo and with the audio untouched.

Old logo on your own ad

Your shop has a new logo but last year's promo video still shows the old one top left. Remove it here, then add the new logo in the editor you normally use.

Hiding a phone number

A product video caught a sticker with a personal phone number in the corner. Choose Blur, draw a box over the sticker, and the number stays unreadable for the whole video.

Two marks at once

A 1280×720 video has a logo top right and a timestamp bottom left. Draw two boxes on the same frame and both are processed in a single pass.

The two methods compared
MethodWhat it doesBest for
RemoveFills the box using colors from its edgesSmall logos on calm or gradient backgrounds
BlurCovers the box with a strong blurBusy backgrounds, or text that must not be readable
LimitsUp to 6 boxes, 120 MB, 3 minutes, 1080pShort clips of your own content

Tips

  • Make the box a few pixels larger than the logo on every side. Remove takes its colors from the box edges, so if an edge touches the logo a faint trace stays behind.
  • The same box is applied to every frame, so the tool suits static logos. A logo that moves around the screen will not be removed.
  • If the background behind the logo is full of detail, Blur usually looks cleaner than Remove.
  • HD or long videos take longer. Test a short clip first to check the box position.
  • Keep the tab open while it works, because the processing runs inside the page itself.

Processing runs in your browser with ffmpeg.wasm. The video and its frames are never uploaded; only the video engine is downloaded on first use.

Frequently asked questions

Can I remove a watermark from any video?

The tool is for your own videos or ones you have permission to edit. Removing another creator's watermark to repost their work may violate copyright and platform rules, and that responsibility sits with whoever publishes the file.

What is the difference between Remove and Blur?

Remove uses the ffmpeg delogo filter, which fills the box from the pixels around it so the area blends into the background. Blur applies a strong box blur only inside the box, leaving a soft patch that hides what was there.

Will the logo disappear without a trace?

On calm backgrounds the trace is very faint. On busy backgrounds you may see a smooth patch, because the filter rebuilds the area from its edges rather than recreating the hidden detail.

Can it remove a moving logo?

No. Your box is fixed and applied to every frame, so it works for logos and marks that stay in one place.

How many boxes can I draw?

Up to six per video. All of them are processed with the method you picked in one run.

Is the audio kept?

Yes. For MP4 and MOV files the audio track is normally copied as is. For WebM and other formats it is converted to AAC at 192 kbps so it plays in most players.

What format is the output?

An MP4 file with H.264 video, which phones, computers and social platforms accept. The file name is the original name plus “-clean”.

What are the size limits?

Up to 120 MB, 3 minutes and 1080p. These limits keep the browser from running out of memory, since all the work happens on your device.

Why does it say my browser cannot preview the video?

You need to see the video to draw the box, so the browser must be able to play it. Some phone MOV files use HEVC, which not every browser plays; try an H.264 MP4 or a WebM file.

Why does processing take a while?

Your browser re-encodes every frame on your own device. A short low-resolution clip finishes in seconds, while a few minutes of 1080p can take several minutes depending on your hardware.

Is my video uploaded anywhere?

No. The video is read and processed inside your browser and the result is created on your device. Only the video engine is fetched on first use.

Does the quality drop?

The picture is re-encoded at a high quality setting (CRF 20), so the difference is usually not visible in normal viewing. MP4 audio is normally kept exactly as it was.
