About Greeting Card Maker

This greeting card maker draws a ready-to-post card in a few seconds. Pick an occasion, choose a design, type your name or the name of the person you are greeting, and the card updates as you go. There are six occasions: Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Kuwait National Day, Hijri New Year, and a thank-you and general category. Each has three or four designs on dark, richly coloured backgrounds, with lanterns, crescents, arches, geometric patterns, fireworks or the Kuwait Towers.

The card is drawn entirely in your browser on a canvas, so your name is never uploaded or stored. When you are happy with it, download a PNG as a 1080×1080 square post or a 1080×1920 story, share it to WhatsApp, or copy a link that opens the very same card for whoever receives it, so they can tweak it and make their own.

Why use it

  • Original designs drawn in code, with no images copied from other sites, in varied dark palettes that look good on phone screens.
  • Arabic text is shaped and joined properly, right to left, using the Cairo and IBM Plex Sans Arabic fonts.
  • Two sizes ready to post: a square for Instagram and Facebook feeds, and a tall story for WhatsApp, Snapchat and Instagram stories.
  • The share link stores the occasion, design, name and greeting, so the recipient sees the same card without you sending a file.
  • The card language is independent of the page, so you can make an Arabic card from the English page and vice versa.
  • Completely free, with no account and no watermark.

How to use

  1. Choose the occasion

In the Occasion menu pick Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Kuwait National Day, Hijri New Year or Thank you & general.

  2. Pick a design

Tap one of the thumbnails. The preview switches instantly, so you can compare designs before deciding.

  3. Add a name and a greeting

Type a name (up to 40 characters) and choose how it appears: From…, To…, or the name alone. Then pick a greeting line from the list or write your own, up to 140 characters.

  4. Set size and language

Choose Square post 1080×1080 or Story 1080×1920, and the card language, Arabic or English. You can also switch the main headline in the Headline menu.

  5. Download or share

Press Download PNG to save the image, Share to WhatsApp to send it, or Copy card link to send a link that opens the same card.

Examples

Eid wishes for the family group

Choose Eid al-Fitr with the fireworks design, type “The Ahmad family” with From…, switch to the story size and post it as your WhatsApp status on Eid morning.

A Ramadan card for colleagues

Pick Ramadan with the lanterns design and “May your fasts and prayers be accepted”, copy the link and drop it in the team chat. Each colleague opens it, swaps in their own name and sends their version on.

Kuwait National Day post

On 25 February choose Kuwait National Day with the towers design, write your own line, “Proud of you, Kuwait”, and download the square size for your Instagram feed.

Thanking a teacher or a client

In the thank-you category choose the headline Thank You and To…, type the teacher’s or client’s name, and send them a clean, elegant card in the chat.

Tips

  • Long names shrink automatically to stay inside the card, but short names read better at a glance.
  • A custom greeting wraps onto three lines at most, so trim it if the text looks small.
  • For stories, choose the 1080×1920 size instead of cropping the square card, so the edges of the design are not cut off.
  • If your device can’t attach images to a share, the card downloads and WhatsApp opens with the link; attach the image from your gallery.
  • The name and greeting are written into the copied link, so keep private details out of them.

The card is drawn in your browser. We do not upload the name, the greeting or the image to any server; the only thing that leaves your device is what you choose to share yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Is the greeting card maker free?

Yes. It is completely free, needs no account and adds no watermark to your card.

What sizes can I download?

Two: a 1080×1080 pixel square post and a 1080×1920 pixel story. Both download as PNG files.

How many designs are there?

Nineteen: four for Ramadan and three each for Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Kuwait National Day, Hijri New Year and Thank you & general.

Can I write my own greeting?

Yes. Choose “Write my own line…” in the greeting list and type up to 140 characters. It wraps onto at most three lines on the card.

How do I share the card on WhatsApp?

Press Share to WhatsApp. On phones that support file sharing, the image is sent directly with the greeting text. In other browsers the image downloads and WhatsApp opens with the card link, so you attach the image yourself.

What does someone see when they open the card link?

They see the same card, with the same occasion, design, name, greeting and size, plus a short note that it was sent to them. They can edit it and make their own.

Do you store my name?

No. The card is only drawn in your browser. If you copy the link, though, the name and greeting are part of it, so anyone with the link can read them.

Can I make an Arabic card from the English page?

Yes. Switch Card language to Arabic and the headline and greeting lines change to Arabic, while the page itself stays in English.

Does Arabic text display correctly?

Yes. It is drawn right to left with joined letters in the Cairo and IBM Plex Sans Arabic fonts. If the fonts take a moment to load, the card redraws automatically once they arrive.

Are the designs taken from other websites?

No. Every design is drawn in code inside the tool from simple shapes such as crescents, lanterns, patterns and fireworks, with no outside images.

Can I print the card?

You can print the downloaded PNG, though its resolution suits screens better than large prints. For printing, use the square size at a small to medium size.

Why can’t I attach the image directly on my computer?

Most desktop browsers do not support sharing files. The tool downloads the card and opens a WhatsApp link instead, and you drag the image into the chat.
